Terms of Service

By accessing or using the LAW platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

The Platform is available exclusively to registered South African law firms and legal practitioners. By registering, you confirm that:

3.1 Subscription Fee

Access to the Platform is provided on a monthly subscription basis at R2,999 per month (inclusive of VAT where applicable). This provides full access to all modules: Legal, Accounting, and Workload.

3.2 Free Trial

New accounts include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, continued use requires a paid subscription.

3.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days.

All software, algorithms, interfaces, and branding associated with the LAW Platform remain the exclusive intellectual property of LAW (Pty) Ltd. Documents and precedents you upload or generate remain your firm's property.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". LAW makes no warranty that the Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted. AI-generated documents are drafts only and must be reviewed by a qualified legal practitioner before use.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LAW's aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by your firm in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

9. Amendments

LAW reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before they take effect.
